As the pros are battling it out in Australia this week, my league play has been pretty exciting in its own right with back-to-back tie-breaks* (I actually think the correct term is “tie-break.”) After yesterday’s cliffhanger (the match never concluded), today my doubles partner Marie and I forced a tie-break and won the match 9-7 in the second set. It proved to be an exciting match with some challenging points and creative rallies. Don’t tell anyone, but once again, I screwed up the tie-break rules, this time forgetting to change sides at 6. If anyone, I should’ve been the one who knew the rules. Until…not tomorrow.
